Every moment of every day we are creating, we never stop, it is what we do, we can't help ourselves, we are creators.
We create the path of our day ahead, our plans for the future and the meaning of our past.
At home we plump up the cushions to create a cosy space for ourselves and others.
We create play lists to inspire and entertain us.
At work we create routines to simply get the work done.
Then there are other times when, we just create a fuss.
In a world brimming with philosophical, psychological and inspirational advice I sit and create Chaos Shrines, I paint and I ponder on the teachings of the Ancient Mystery Schools.
Why do I do this?
Well I know my creations fill a need in me which is partially covered by the process of making them but, then there is this other need I have too and that is to share my thoughts with others hopefully in a positive way.
Chaos Shrines are tools to remind us to “walk the talk” or to “walk our own specific talk”. I love the term and I use it a lot, it sums the whole concept of my Chaos shrine up so neatly.
We understand the theory now of awareness and oneness but the practice of the concepts can still be a bit tricky.
The colours, fragments and images of each Chaos Shrine will mean what it will to each person according to the unique desires and needs tucked away in each heart.
Every time you happen to glance upon a Chaos Shrine the meaning you have attributed to it will blossom once again in your mind, even if your day has not been one of the best, you will remember your truth.
You will remember once again your goal, your vision, your path and willingly strive to maintain it.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us that there is more to life than what we perceive with our five senses.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us that life is magic.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us that magic is simply life.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us that we know this.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us to act.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us to be true to ourselves.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us to walk our talk.
A Chaos Shrine is made to remind us to be the best we can.
